Value Education through Spiritual Retreat :
Goal: To impart moral and spiritual education to College students Value education through spiritual retreat programme is being conducted.
Context: As our College was established in the name of holy Spiritual mother Sri Sharada Mathe, a spiritual and moral retreat programme is being conducted in the college to impart moral values of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sri Matha Sharada and Swami Vivekananda.
The Practice: Generally during the month of August every year a moral retreat programme is conducted in the College by Human Resource Development unit of our College. We usually invite Swamijis from Sri Ramakrishna Mission to inaugurate this Programme. Swami Jithakamanandaji from Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore is Chief resource person of this programme. Devotional songs are sung by the students. We invite resource persons to speak on different issues related to communal harmony, education system, and values relating to good social and moral life. The students are encouraged to record the proceedings and make presentations. Prizes are also awarded for the best presentation.
