About the Cell
It has become essential that the students bridge the gap between campus and corporate life. The Career Counselling Cell of our college identify the skills required for the transition to corporate world and need a through training to enhance employability skill. A primary objective of this cell is to ensure that every student would have developed a competency which is very much necessary to face the corporate selection process and the competitively equipped to face competition. This cell initiates grooming process from campus to corporate transition with special focus towards placement.
Our college is not only committed to provide quality education to its students but also guide them successfully towards their career and goals. The placement cell of our college from the past many years have been training out students towards their career by conducting various training sessions , sessions on the job market, entrance examinations , personality development., etc. It also providing coaching for our students in the preparation of entrance examinations like Bank exams, National level preliminary exams, Aptitude tests etc. The cell has conducted many placement drives and provided employment to several youth.
The Career Counselling Cell covers following areas of activities:
- Skill Development Programmes.
- Corporate Accessibility – Expectations of the corporate world, Current Trends and needs and identification of sector wise needs.
- Development of Etiquette- Development of communication skills, phone, E-mail, on-line application submission. etc.
- Personality Development Programmes- Grooming behavior, developing body language. etc.
- Presentation skills- Students presentations, seminars, demo presentations.
- Writing skills- Resume writing .
- Group Discussion, Interview preparation, conducting mock interviews. etc.
- Conducting Placement Drives at least two in a Academic Year, one each in each semester.

The Career Counselling Cell and Department of commerce of our college jointly organised an on-line coaching classes for Bank and other competitive examinations. Now a day Bank jobs are most demand-in-jobs among other jobs in India. The aspirants generally appear for examinations conducted by IBPS, RBI, SBI and other private sector banks. These banking examinations can give the jobs for candidates in RBI, SBI and Associated Banks, 21 Nationalised Banks, 20+ Private sector banks, selected foreign banks and a large number of small and medium sized co-operative banks with Gramina Banks at the clerical , PO ( Probationary Officer), and SO ( Specialist Officer) levels.
In order to cater the needs of the aspirant students , On-line Coaching classes for Bank and other competitive examinations are conducted through Google classrooms . Professor Purushothama Balyaya, Assistant Professor and HOD , Department of Commerce, conducted these classes by uploading various lessons which are suitable for aspirant students.
