INDOOR MUSEUM

As our village Basrur is a place of great history and culture, historical and folk museum was established in our College. Our aim was to make the students know about a great heritage, local history and folk culture. Basrur was a well planned and developed port city which had its  own history during the medieval period. There is a great heritage left behind by the rulers of this land. The Historical and Folk Museum which is developed in our institution is an attempt to  present some of the relics of the ancient and medieval time. It is  also an attempt to inculcate interest among our students in Indigenous folk culture of the local history. The Historical and folk Indoor museum was established in our  College with the objectives mentioned above. The Museum consists of various items related to the folk art Yakshagana,  Agriculture and folk culture of this locality.
