ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Alumni Association 2021-22: The Alumni Association has been a helping hand in all our college’s academic, cultural, and development works. Sri Ramkishan Hegde is the president, Sri Rakesh Kelamani is the secretary, Jayasheela Shetty, Yogish Acharya is the Vice-President, Kalpana Bhaskar is the Joint Secretary, and Akshatha Pai is the Treasurer.

Alumni Association 2020-21: The Alumni Association has been a helping hand in all our college’s academic, cultural, and development works. Sri Rakesh Kelamane is the president, Sri Naresh is the secretary, and Dr. Rakshith Kumar Shetty is the staff coordinator of the association. This association has contributed Rs.1,00,000/to the college development fund in the reporting year.

Report:  NENAPU  Inter- collegiate cultural competition was inaugurated by  Sri  B. Appanna Hegde  Correspondent of the college on 8th February 2020 at 9 AM. The chief guuests are : 1. Smt Anupama S Shetty, Trustee Sri Sharada College Trust,  Sri Ravi Basrur, Music Director, Sri Harish Padiyar, C Kotec Software, Bangalore, Sri B N Prabhu Basrur, Reited Senior Manager , Canara Bank, Sri Manjunath Basrur , Shorewaves Midiatec Private Ltd. Banagalore, Sri Kandavara Sateesh Shetty, Machanical Engineer , Kandavara Kelamane, Dr. Chandravathi Shetty, Principal of the college , Sri Rakesha G Kelamane , President of the Alumni Association, and Sri Naresh , Secretary of the Alumni Association .

The Judges for this Cultural  Competition were:

  1. Manjari Chandra, Renowned Bharata Natya Artist.
  2. Sri Narendra Kumar Kota, ‘ Founder Usiru Organization and Youth Award  winner Government of India.
  3. Sri Vasudeva Gangera , Director Ranga Shikshana Sansthe ‘NEENAASAM’.

13 Colleges were registered  for the competition. They are named as Smarana, Chintana, Nartana,  Gaayana , Dhyaana, Bhaavana, Dharshana, Gamana, Manana, Jnaapana, Paavana, Nayana and Kavana for the purpose of participating in the competition.

The Veledictory function  of the program was held on 8th February 2010 at 6.30 PM.  Sri Jayakara Shetty , President , Sri Sharada College Trust Basrur was presided over the function. The chief guests are : 1. Sri Ganesh Shetty Molahalli, Member , Academic Council , Sri Sharada College Basrur, Sri K R Nayak,  Class I Electricity Contractor, Sri  Praveen Sherigar Mahadevi Constructions  Mangalore, Sri Shridhara Udupa, Vishnumoorthi Temple Balkur, Sri Devananda Shetty, Ex. Member Zilla Panchayath,  Sri Rajesh Junior Engineer Mescom and Dr. Chandravathi Shetty Principal Sri Sharada College Basrur.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION – HOLISTIC INITIATIVE

GURUVANDANA – FELICITATION TO RETIRED STAFF

A Guruvanadana – Felicitation  to retired staff was organized by  Alumni Association of our college on 8th February 2020 in the campus. Dr. Chandravathi Shetty , Principal presided over the function. The chief guests are Smt. Chandraprabha  Hegde , Retired Principal, Sri  H . Jagadeesh Retired HOD Commerce, Dr, M Dinesh Hegde  Retired principal, Sri Pratap Chandra shetty, Inspector Commercial Tax , Mangalore, Sri. Yogesh Acharya, Ex- President Aumni Association and Sri Rajendra Shettigar , Officer Agricultural Department. All the retired teaching and non-teaching staff were honoured and felicitated by the Alumni Association  of our college.
