Sri Sharada Yakshagana Adhyayana Kendra
Sri Sharada Yakshagana Adhyayana Kendra was established in the year 1976. It gave training to the students on folk art Yakshagana. It also conduct Yakshagana Certificate course. Every year nearly 30 students were take training under this and also got certificate. During college day occasion student artists will perform Yakshagana prasanga.
Objectives:
- It develops culture aspects among students.
- To save and develop folk art.
- To study and understand about our regional culture.
- It creates traditional knowledge.

2016-17
Sri Sharada Yakshagana Adhyayana Kendra has come alive with renewed vigor under the direction of Sri Purushotham Balyaya , the Co-Ordinator. It has conducted a yakshagana certificate course in the reporting year by Sri Prasad Kumar Mogebettu ; 18 students were enrolled and 6 students are enacting the prasanga “ Sudhanva Moksha “ in the cultural event.
2017-18
Sri Sharada Yakshagana Adhyayana Kendra has come alive with renewed vigor under the direction of Sri Purushotham Balyaya , the co-ordinator. Inaugurated on 4th sept 2017, the yakshagana certificate course in the reporting year by Sri Prasad Kumar Mogebettu. Nearly 20 students are taking training under this cell. Ayakshagana puppet show was organized by Uppinakudru Bhaskar Kamath and team on 11th sept 2017. 14 students of this unit are performed the Yakshagana prasanga “ Samrajne Shashipra” .
2018-19
Sri Raghavendra Shetty is the co-ordinator of this centre. The inauguration of the centre took place on 9th Aug. 2018. It also offers a certificate course in Yakshagana guided by Sri Prasad Kumar Mogebettu, Udupi Dist, a Rajyostava awardee. Nearly 30 students have been taking training under this cell. 23 students of the unit are going to perform the yakshagana prasanga on “ Draupadi Prathapa”.
2019-20
Sri Raghavendra Shetty is the co-ordinator of this centre. The inauguration of the centre took place on 9th Aug. 2018. It also offers a certificate course in Yakshagana guided by Sri Prasad Kumar Mogebettu, Kalinga Navuda Samsmarana awrdee. Nearly 30 students have been taking training under the cell. 27 students of the unit are going to perform the Yakshagana prasanga on “ Jwala Prathapa”.
2020-21
Sri. Raghavendra Shetty is the co-ordinator of this centre. A training programme was inaugurated on march 16th 2021. Prasadkumar Mogebettu inaugurated the programme. Dr. Chandravathi Shetty, principal presided over the function. Raghavendra Shetty co-ordinator welcomed the guest.
